Volunteering Your Time
Don't have much money to give, but still want to help?
That's okay, donations can come in a lot of forms, and there
are many ways that you can help. You can help create more awareness by
telling friends about the charity or by posting something on your Facebook page.
You could hold a fundraiser** - bake sales, car washes, and dinners all
are great ideas.
You can also help generate more funds just by
visiting the following websites and volunteering your time:
• Use
GoodSearch.com
as your search engine. Type in The Dempsey Burdick Memorial Foundation
as your charity of choice and click verify. Each time you search the
internet, the foundation earns a penny. It's that easy!
• Go to
GoodSHOPPING.com which is GoodSearch's new way to benefit
non-profits. Just like you do when you use GoodSearch's search engine,
enter The Dempsey Burdick Memorial Foundation as your charity of choice
and click verify. Then, click on the links to the online stores and
SHOP. Walmart, Target, Old Navy, Gap, even eBay is listed. Each store
donates a different percentage, but it will add up fast.
• Sell some of your unneeded stuff on eBay using
Giving Works
and donate a portion of your earnings to the foundation. eBay Giving
Works is the dedicated program for charity listings on eBay,
enabling you to list items on eBay and donate part or all of the
final sale price to The Dempsey Burdick Memorial Foundation.

it.
